Lissy's Cyber 17th

Hee hee so tonight is my last night of being 16 and shall I tell you something, it feels rather weird!!!!! Like because I am really quite childish in my mannerisms and things and so like you know now i'm 17 I can't really say I am a child any more as excuse for things. I knowa lot of people will argue once you hit about 15 or 16 you're no longer really a child, but I feel up till 17 you can legitamately use the excuse so now I won't be able to which is rather weird! But hey I shall take it as it comes and woot woot I'll be able to drive tomorrow (well when my provisional arrives! Hurry up DVLA and Royal Mail!!!)

Anyway I'll talk about more of those things later! I'm here to talk about my actual party which happened on the Friday just gone! The theme was CYBER!!! Hee Hee I got totally exciteable about it and really really enjoyed it hee hee!!!!

So what should I tell you about first! Well lemme just tell you now! Planning was an absolute nightmare! There's been panicking and madness and rushing and all sorts!!! Total stress! So bad!!! But we managed to get everything just about on the day so we hung up the black sheets round the room and then I got to work on spraying them all up with this special UV pink paint which actually showed up orange under the UV light *pouts* I can tell you Iwas not happy about that not happy at all! But yeah it still looked pretty darn cool!

So like I mentioned we had a UV backlight, and in this kit we'd bought we got the UV spray paint (bloody nightmmare I tell you I got pinkspray paint ALL OVER my hands!!!!! And it made my hand ache like crazy so overall not good!!!!!!!!!!!) But it did show up really great in the neon light!!!!

300 glow sticks!!!!!

So this one was definitely a picture fail!!! But I have to admit it shows off the glowing chains I made to perfection!!!!! They just look so pretty!!!

10 glow straws and 8 glow cups!!!!

So here again as seen above are our glowing martini glasses!!!! They are just the best thing since sliced bread I have decided and from now on I shall ALWAYS have them on my birthday just because they are way too cool for school!!!! So starting from the top Lina's is green, Wizzy's was blue, mine's the pink, Zell's the lilac one(it was actually pink like mine but she had a blue lagoon in hers hence the lilac!!!!), and Courtenay's was yellow!!!! I like how pretty they all look together!!!! They're just gorgeous!!!

Right before the party got started I got everything sorted and then half an hour before Zell came over!!! Hee hee!!!

Here's a picture we took when Zell arrived! Hee hee aren't her eye lashes fab!!!! And Imust say the top I lent her suits her very much!!!!!!! It's such a shame though that in all these pictures you cannot see my butterfly contact lenses!!!!!! And they're just so cool as well!! Hee hee in most of my pics they make my eyes look blue!!!!!! So yeah I think we both look ready to party so let's get on with what happened on the night!!!

So obviously I don't haveany pics what so ever of us doing quasar as we were too busy runninground shooting each other to care about such things as pictures but we did get a few from in the half time break where we all got our snacks and such!!!! Hee hee!!!

So here's 3 of us lot!!!! They're pretty bad photos and shall I tell you why!!!! Because my father was taking the pics is why!!!! Silly daddy + crappy camera as you can imagine is not a good mix!!! So we're left with the result which is very bad pics!!!!

So sitting nearest the camera were Beth and Chaz, then Zell and I, followed by Maddy and Anna (and thisis where it gets hard to see), followed by Haz and Wizzy, Rakhi and Selina, and finally Tehreem and Courtenay!!!! Not out best pictures cause we were all munching away and laughing ourselves hoarse with tales of teachers and such!!!!

So whilst we were munching away we brought in my cake, which wasn't really a cake you see!!! It's a giant scone shaped like Hello Kitty's head!!! Hee hee I was rather pleased with it if I did say so myself!!!!!!! So here is the fabulous Hello Kitty Cake!!!

To say this was only my second attempt at this I'd say it was pretty good! So I was really clever cause I love glace cherry scones!!!! But some of the girls at my party loathe them!!! And so I made half of it with cherries and half with raisins!!!! Brilliant idea I thought and everyone seemed to be really pleased with the results as well!!!! I love her bow made out of glace cherries! That bit was super delicious!!!!

Well we went back to our second game and we did BGGS versus non BGGS for our last game!!! Of course BGGS won by a good 3000 points!!!! So I was very happy!!!!! And here's one final picture of me before we go home!!!!!

So because we don't own a car that can fit 7 girls in the back of we took a people carrier taxi!!! Hee hee totally fun journey! For some reason it reminded me of school trips a lot!!! Here we are with some rather bumpy picture we took in the taxi!!!!

Well we were quite happily sat in the back of oour taxi giggling away and we reached the top of the lane, bare in mind my house is down a tiny country lane with lots, I was in heels, we were all minimally dressed, it was pitch black, and cold. And so Mr Taxi driver was all llike "Right I'll drop of you off here" we were all like ".... WHAT THE HELL" Ha so we gave mother a ring and proceeded to push the phone through the tiny little slot in the plexi glass!!! Ha it's always best to let mothers do the yelling while we just sit in the back! Ha so we finally got home at about 9:30 ish!!!!! Ready to dance hee hee!!!!! And of course have plenty of Pimms, Blue Lagoons, and mine and everyone elses favourite Pink Ladies!!!!

From here on is basically a huuuuuge picture spam so sorry if it makes your computer laggy but I wanted to put all of them up here cause it was just so fun!!!!

To start off here's some group ones!!!! A lot of the pictures the glow stuff doesn't look too good because we had to take the picture with flash on so our glow stuff doesn't show up so well! But we did take some with flash off, anyway sorry on with the pics!!!

Okay so this seems to be the only pic I forgot to turn the right way up silly Isabel! But here's me stood underneath the UV backlight! My oufit looks so cool underneath it, although for some reason in this pic my UV make up and nails haven't shown up darn it!!!

Here are 2 picture fails that I was gonna delete and then decided I liked the pretty effect that the glow stuff had given off!!!!

Here's me stood with my whole interest invested in my pasta!!! It was very very very good pasta indeed I must say!!! Ha and also to say I had no idea the picture was being taken I think it looks really nice! Almost as if I knew the pic was being taken and chose to stand that way to look carelessly disinterested in all else!!!! I love it!!!!!! And you can also see the black fabric we spray painted in this one!!!!!

Lina Bear looking very sexy here in between a confused looking Wizzy and Courtenay hmmm! Hee hee!!!! I think they may have been wondering to get more drinks!!!!!

And here she is again with Wizzy with their glow cups!!! Sadly Haz couldn't drink that much as she had her driving lesson at 9 am that morning!!! Poor Haz!!!!!!!

We all mega loved those glow cups!!!! Including Zell and I!!!!!!! I'd say we both look pretty darn awesome in these photos hee hee!!!! I believe the cups were certainly surgically attached to our lips hee hee! Especially when the contents were pink ladies hee hee!!!!

Even posing Zell and I still manage to clutch our drinks hee hee!!!!

I did manage to successfully manage to get one where she wasn't however hee hee! Here she is just laughing about and one with Anna and Haz we're Anna's jus all giggley!!!

Infact here's some more of our Nana Bear!!! First in one where she looks like a robot and Lina's boobs are being attacked by the UV light and secondly where she's demonstrating her amazing artistic ability to draw ........... a heart on my chest!!!!!

EEEEK HEY GUYS!!!!

SORRY I'VE BEEN SOOOO LAX IN UPDATING!!!

But i've just decided to post this eventhough it's not finished cause i've been going crazily lately and all this time i've felt so guilty about not posting and now I need to post about my party, so basically what I'm gonna do is slowly keep updating this but majorly focuson my new material now the holidays are over! I'verealised contrary to other people who would probably update most during the holidays I presonally update most when I'mnin school with a regular routine so anyway here you go!!!!!

I'm being very bad i've realised! But I do have a legitimate excuse! I was packing for Spain, and then I was in Spain, and then I returned from Spain and everything's just been so crazy! I'm sorry!!!! Really sorry honestly! I'm gonna be sooooo super good from now on honest!!!! But yeah I've decided I can't possibly do the whole post about Spain with intergrating pictures!!! It's just waaaaay too much stress! I really loathe uploading pictures on blogger so instead of putting them in along with my typing I'm just gonna get the whole lot of pics over and done with in one huuuuuuge blog post which will follow this tomorrow night!!! For now however you get the chat!!!!

PRE-SPAIN
So I was really excited at this point, and I was having a crazy time packing!!!! I mean like totally mental!!! This was because Ryan Air is stupid! Do you care to know whyyyy Ryan Air is crazy! I'll tell you!!!! BECAUSE THEY ONLY ALLOW YOU TO HAVE 15 KILOS!!!!!!! FIFTEEN KILOS I TELL YOU!!!! Do you know what 15 kilos does to a girl like me! Kills me! I had to take 2 kilos alone of like toiletries and lotions and potions!!!! So I spent all of Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday morning trying to get my bag under the limit! I was darn lucky I had it at 14.4/14.5 (depending on the scales) when I weighed it!

I did get some super cute stuff if though! I shall post lots of picture of the clothes I brought with me cause I ended up wearing everything basically apart from my flat shoes! I actually thought "Right I shall be sensible for once" you know like so I brought my impracticle shoes of 2 pairs of stilletos for evening wear, and then I brought my wedges which are a cross between practicle and impraticle. Then anyway me thinking I was being clever I brought FOUR pairs of flat shoes, you know like a pair for every eventually! I didn't wear them once! Well actually I wore my converse once, but that was it! In 6 days I only wore flats for 7 hours! That was it what a waste of 3 kilos!!!!

So it was the night before Spain and I'd just about got everything settled

Okay so i'm like centuries late with this blog post!!!

So so so soooooooo sorry guys!!!!

But But But at least I do have an excuse for why this post is soooo late!!! Okay so last weekend when I was originally intending to write this post I cam down with a really bad cold and was like totally bed ridden for the whole weekend, and I just had no energy to focus on anything that wasn't crappy day time TV! Did you know what a travesty this world is - THERE IS NO JEREMY KYLE ON THE WEEKEND!!!!!! Not even on on ITV2!!! I rely on Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women to keep me entertained! That and Desperate Housewives play backs!!!!!

Anyway sorry got a bit off the topic then! Okay so I didn't do it when planned over the weekend, and then this week I really got behind with my homework so I was constantly playing catch up for that T.T sorry!!!!! I really should have been more organised - I mean the homework wasn't even that hard! Just soooooo bloody time consuming!

So anyway! I hope you can all find it in your hearts to forgive me!

What I was gonna write about last weekend (which is now kinda old news but oh well!) was my trip to see Hamlet, and the Ranger's 1940s evening!!!!

So we went to see Hamlet on the Wednesday!!!!! We took the trip up to Sheffield on the train it was Lottie, Raisa, Alex, Iymaan, Steph, Miss Green and I! I really enjoyed going!!! So I guess you all wanna see what I was wearing!!!

So as pics of me - not good!!!! But it is the only decent one of my outfits! All the others are blurred because a) no one understands my crappy camera, and b) the train was pretty much full and rocking!!! So very bubble-popping photo taking circumstances!!!!!! But I like the outfit to say it had to still look school uniform-ish if we put our black jackets on!!!

Oh and apologies for flashing my tummy - Woops!!

Now for a better pic demonstrating my make up and hair!!!

So on second thoughts for this make up I'd have applied more lippy and possibly made my eye shadow darker!!! But apart from that (and my bow not sitting straight *pouts*) I'm pretty pleased, my hair's all lovely and curly and my skin looks very darn good there!!! Thank god for rice face wash ... hmmmmm ... speaking of which I must do a post on that in the future!

Yep but anyway! Really pleased with that!!!!

Right let's actually get on to the play now!!!

The cast was certainly very good!!!!! It even had Detective Barnaby from Midsomer Murders (I think his name's John Nettles??? Correct me if i'm wrong!) and DCI Sam Tyler from Life on Mars (John Simm)!!!! So a pretty star studded cast! The scenery was also faultless! As was costuming! Ha I spent half of the play lusting after Ophelia's outfits!!!!!!

The play itself was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Although I still don't think I'd rate it in my top 5 Shakespeare plays. The only fault I had with the whole production was as Hamlet's normally a 4 hour play they cut it down (which was fine) but the bad part is, they cut out a REAAAAAAAALLY funny bit with Polonius!!! The bit where he keeps telling one of his servants to go watch his son Laertes and he's all like "watch him, but make sure no one thinks you're watching him, and enquire about him, but make sure no one thinks your enquiring" Hee hee such an amusing bumbling old fool!

I totally enjoyed it! It was mega happy making!!!

Next thing I said i'd talk to you guys about was the 1940s evening we had at Rangers (grown up Guides)! So for part of our Adventure 100 we have to have an evening from one of that past decades of the last century!

So as our unit we chose 40s!!!!! It was SUCH fun evening! Lots and lots of cam whoring was involved!

The only bad thing was my cold was coming on by this point so in a lot of pictures my nose looks a little red *cries*!

Okay so here comes a picture spamming time!!!!

Basically I wore my prom outfit, but switched my Nicky Clarke pin curl wave for a twisty up do from Lauren Rennells (I think that's spelled right but I be arsed getting out of bed to check!) book "Vintage Hairstyling" It's a reallu good book! Certainly worth the investment!

Oh and yes by the way, before anyone points it out, there is a dead fox round my neck! Yes I know you don't like it but hey a lot of people do - me included, oh and if you're not a veggie you have no right to comment cause you eat meat, so there *sticks tongue out*!

But yeah! The way my dress falls in this is proper bubbley-making indeed!!!!

Okay so here is the much awaited for fake tan review!!!!

So in previous years i've used Johnsons Gradual Fake Tanner! Let me say one thing - ORANGE!!!!!

So when I go for a tan I like a nice deep mahogany!!!! NOT OOMPALOOMPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah with Johnsons it's great if you want a nice gentle bronze, however if you want something darker it ends up going ORANGE! aka not good at all!!!

So this stuff ... St Moriz!!!

It's BRILLIANT!!!!!! I actually adore it!

Admittedly it does streak more than the Johnsons!!! BUTTTTT with some good elbow grease you can get it good and even! (And yep as you can see from the label it is only £3.99!!! Such a reasonable price for a good month/2 months worth!)

Anyway back to talking about getting it even! Okay so as you can see from the pic I bought a tanning mit, well I decided I intensly dislike tanning mits!

(yep I'm aware how grosse the fake tan looks!)

They're too big for my hands so it slides about like crazy when I have it on! Not only this but because of this I can't rub it on with enough pressure so I end up - you guessed it - streaky! Not Good!

So I decided to go back to using a tanning sock, a very highly technological tool of: an odd sock! Yep I heard on snog marry avoid that to get an even tan you have to use a sock and guess what it works!

Here is where a problem with St Moriz comes in! With Johnsons when the tan soaked through the sock and on to my hand it was okay and I could just wash it off after. However this stuff stains your skin like instantly!!!!!! So I needed something that solved the problem!!!! Then the idea came to me to use the plastic gloves you get in hair dye!!! Problem solved hee hee!!!!

Now the next bit was quite tricky to show cause of my horridious camera but I did my best!!!!

Yep I know seriously crap photo! But at least it shows the difference between how white I was before and the nice brown I am now! Well actually I'm darker now cause I applied another layer! But hey you get the general jist ne!!!!!

Very Very Very Good! I was most pleased indeed by it! Me thinks I shall be swapping to this permanently now! Only problem is I'm swimming on Saturday and chlorine eats fake tan!!!!!!!!! Oh o!!!!

Trip to see "As You Like It"

Okay soooo tonight I am off to the theatre! Hee hee it's gonna be really fun 'cause it's Shakespeare's comedy "As You Like It" I really love Shakespeare's play they're so witty and so I'm especially looking forward to it, it will be the first time I've seen As You Like It so fingers crossed it'll be well performed!

Now to the important matter of the evening! What will I be wearing!!! Well unfortunately it's not like one of these big posh theatres with nice red velvet upholstery :( it has .... metal seats *shudders*! Even standing in the pit of The Globe was comfier! So yeah not posh cocktail dresses unfortunately!

So I decided to go for a casual slouchy knit dress that I snapped up in the Next sale.

T'is very nice and warm and slouchy! Perfect comfort!!!!

Then I teamed it with my favourite pair of Winter boots from Primark! They were only £12 yet they've lasted me 2 years!!!! And they match a tonne of my own clothes!!!! So very practical!

-------------------------After The Night---------------

Okay so the play was crap! I dunno if it was the actors or the fact that I just didn't like the play! Either way the only thing keeping me awake that night was the fact that I had my new purple contact lenses in!!!!

So enough with the boredom!!!! I was wearing this...

Okay so as pictures of me go, not the best, but I didn't want to tax my dad's photographic skills too much because - he has none! Poor Dad ha!

But yeah! I'm super happy with how it all co-ordinated!!!

As well I look super cute with new contact lenses in purple!!! I love them! Not quite sure if they suit me though, maybe a deeper purple ne!

Here's a pic of my make up to show you!!!!!! I reaaaaaaaally wanted to glam it up but i thought I better not do in the end, allthoguh really I don't like doing subtle make up at all, to say I don't like it though it came off quite well though!!!!

So as you can tell from the pic I straightened my hair!!! Very happy at that! I would have preferred curls, but with how thick my hair is it takes at least a good 30mins and I just didn't have the time. Anyway as I was saying I straightened it which I haven't done in a very long time, mainly because I'm trying to keep my hair is super good condition so I can grow it out!

Anyone who knows me knows I want my hair below my waist so that when it's curled it come to my waist! I always think girl who have their hair like that look so nice!!!!!! It's gonna take a long while though so very bubble popping making!!!!

Tonight I'm gonna start working on the fake tan review so hopefully that should be up in 2 or 3 days maximum hee hee see you then!!!!!!!

Ah hee hee time for another post I feel!

Well first of all I'd like to point out i'm having some problems using the cute little emotes i love, so i'm having to give them a rest for the moment, which is very bubblepopping-making :(!

Colons and brackets are just not the same as ameba emotes!!!!!!!

Okay so at the moment apart from the whole emotes problem life is super happy making! So I feel like talking about happy-making things!

So This Month:
1) Internet shopping! I've been on the gyaru raba blog (any budding gyarus shoud certainly check it out like NOW -go on go check it out!). And from it have found a super cute little shop on rakuten (which is totally trustworthyby the way and with super good postage!) called DreamV! So i've seen some totally awesome clothes on there that i wannt!!! So here's some stuff that's on my wish list!!!

Hee Hee contrary to Pusskins' belief these are actually pyjamas! I want them for Spain the set includes one top and one skirt and one hair bow, also the whole set is edged in lace and has hair bows sown on! It also comes in at the super reasonable price of 2480 yen!!! Mad good for all the lacey detailing!

Okay so I am loving the GORGEOUS snow boots in a baby pink!!! Although they could be bought in the brown for a less pink hime-gyaru look. I suppose in the brown or black they'd be more of an onne-gyaru look! But anyway these boots are a total steal at only 3980 yen!!!!! Very reasonable for something so fluffy and warm making for Winter! So these are very practical boots indeed!!!! And as you can see they've been featured in Popteen!!!!

Okay so as much as I love this coat, and I really love this coat, I have to warn you t'is quite pricey at 8980 yen (£67), but I suppose if you compare it to some of the similar coats on Jesus Diamante which are priced well into the hundreds this is a really good coat!!! You get the little fur collar, and it also has bow and lace detailing on the back! Hee hee this is so going on my Christmas wish list!!!

So another pair of shoes that are featured in Popteen! I mega love these! I know heart heels have been around for a good while now but I've never got round to getting any so this is a big want! Especially seeing as of the little charm on the straps and the bows on the front! Yet again this website comes in with a super good price of only 2480 yen! They're so pretty and I could style them up or down depending on when I wear them!!!!

Okay so I really wanted a better picture of this JSG nekomimi, but for some reason neither my laptop nor school computers show up the images on eurogal which has the really good pictures! But anyway yeah! Everyone who's seen this would say it super suits me so I reallllllly reallllllly want it!!!!!! Allthough this pic doesn't show the cute pink armwarmers! I do love the star zipper on this though!

Okay so i know dungarees have been around for aaaaaaages but I was never really into them before! But now I really really want one for when I schlepp down to the co-op but still wanna look semi decent! It looks so comfy, comes in a gorgeous baby pink and is from cocolulu!!!!!!! Hee hee gimme gimme!

2) Okay so second thing making me happy is songs and music etc!!!!

Hee hee so these past few weeks there have been 3 main musical things making me really happy!!!!

So as you will know if you read my second post this is the artist Mizca, she does kinda techno/electro pop which is really very happy making!!! Her song that I'm into most is Dameyo as you can see from the album cover <-----! She's basically singing about how useless her ex boyfriend is whilst dancing about in amazingly gorgeous clothes! Can I just say I want that outfit! And according to Pusskins she reminds her of me - Success!!!! Okay so I've basically learnt the dance to this for my birthday so maybe closer to the time I'll make a post on that ne!!!!

Okay so this group is called Onna Lovely! It's comedy group featuring two girls and one male comedian - Kanada Satoshi! I actually love this song for two reasons!!!! 1 That it's super funny and hilarious, and number 2 is that the song lyrics and such get stuck in your head so easily and can't help but go round singing them hee hee "anata ni panchi panchi panchi" hee hee! I swear once you listen to it you will not be able to get it out of your head!!!!!!

3) Okay so TV happenings that have really made my life fly so much quicker!!!!!

Only two things same as the music!!!!! X Factor is back for yet another year!!!1 Sadly no one yet ammounting to Jedward's awesome-ness, but I think if they get through I'm so voting for Chloe Victoria (ha "but but Saaaamon it's not ma fault"!!!!!) or those Viva Diva guys! Let's hope they sing "Go West" or "YMCA"!!!!!!!!!! The Second TV thing is Britain's next top model is keeping me on tenter hooks, last week my favourite Charlotte got sent home, leaving the annoying, rude, moody, sulky Joy, who I don't understand anyone can like, the bolshy Alisha, and the edgy but cute Tiffany! If you hadn't allready guessed I'm for Tiffany all the way!!!!!!!

4) Okay so the final thing making me really happy this montj is me trying out lots of different ways of applying different colours of make up to get different effects! For example my dp where I've gone for a super huge over exagerated dolly eye and it turned out like perfect so I was so pleased!!!!
